What is Homogenous vinyl flooring?
The homogeneous vinyl floor covering is made of one single layer that offers vibrancy and depth of the colour.
The heterogeneous flooring on the other hand, is a multi-layer flooring which comes in wide variety of beautiful patterns with endless design possibilities. This feature gives a feel and a look of natural flooring materials. Heterogeneous flooring also offers low maintenance cost, which is why is primary choice of homeowners, health care facilities, schools, etc.
Both vinyl homogeneous and heterogeneous flooring are affordable flooring solutions when compared with other flooring materials, and are incredibly stain resistant. Installtion:
Installation should be carried in accordance with local standards. Subfloor to be smooth, hard, clean and dry prior to laying.Where applicable the subfloor must incorporate an effective Damp Proof Membrane. The material must be allowed to acclimatize 24 hours before installation in a room temperature of between 18 - 24 degree.
Maintenance
No emulsion dressing is required. Maintenance should be carried out regularly to retain in the appearance and durability of the floor. The floor covering should be maintained with regula sweeping and damp mopping with using a neutral cleaner, more intense cleaning should be carried out using a fine spray cleaning pad under a floor machine, or for larger area with a cleaning machine.
